Medium format or larger does produce superior quality and is
indeed still used for many formal shots in the studio. But today, the 35mm film
technology is so brilliant, unless you plan to enlarge your photographs to cinemascope
proportions, it is not necessary. Most wedding photography in the world is done
on the very versatile 35mm format. Film means top quality that will be around
for generations. It is sharp, clear and keeps its colour.
